Midnight Club Los Angeles was the last installment by Rockstar Games. It was released on October 20, 2008, and before that was Midnight Club 3 DUB Edition which was released on April 11, 2005.

Between the two latest titles there is just over a three year gap. Now, with that being said we should also acknowledge that games for the current gen will take an even longer process to make especially if they want to make it right.

It is understandable that Rockstar has had their hands tied with games such as the infamous Grand Theft Auto V that is constantly bringing in new content on top of the time it took to upgrade to current gen and then the PC a few months later.

However, it has been nearly 6 years since we have gotten even a glimpse of a new installment of which many racing fans crave.

What separates Midnight Club from the rest? I am glad you asked. Midnight Club is different because it has its own unique style and feel. Also it is not just racing through paved tracks with an occasional short cut or side street to take but instead the entire city of Los Angeles is your short cut.

It is street racing at its best. This element is fairly rare in the video game world of racing, and is even rarer to find a quality one. Just saying, I think it’s about time to resurrect the legendary franchise and burn some rubber, just one more lap is all we’re asking.
